Monkey Punch, real name Kazuhiko Katō, ex radiologist, is dead at 81 years old on 11th april in Tokyo, for a a causa di complicazioni con una pneumonia.

MP has worked on Lupin until 1985, after other authors have continued his adventures. He gradueted in Communications Sciences and he taugh, until 2010, the language of comics at university.
In Italy has arrived in the 2001 guest of Comics Fair of Rome, it rewarded with the “Romics d’Oro”.
He has worke for Star Comics (first italian editor of Lupin Manga), designed an italian adventure of Lupin & Gang set in Lucca Comics (Comics Fair of Lucca)a with script of Kappa Boys, for launch of first italian edition of 2nd manga series of Lupin III.
