MERCEDES BENZ SSK 1928 – Mercedes SSK 1928 is Lupin’s car in the first, second and third tv series, and in the 1969 pilot-film. The car is an elaboration of previous SS model. The engine is a six line cylinders for 7069 cc., with a ‘Roots’ supercharger that upgrades the power from 170 to 250 HP. This model was made with the collaboration of Hans Nibel. This car, with the max speed of 190 km/h, was immediately protagonist of Formula 1 GPs. Famous Caracciola’s competitions with Alfa and Bugatti models.
MERCEDES BENZ SSKL 1931 – Lupin’s car in 1978 “Mamoo no ichien” is a 1931 Mercedes SSKL. This one is a light-weight model of 1928 SSK ( ‘L’ means light ). The official version of this car won Millemiglia and Germany GranPrix in 1928. The power of this version is 300 HP, excellent !

ALFA ROMEO 2300 TOURING 1932 – In the second tv series Lupin sometimes doesn’t use his Mercedes Benz SSK, but another fascinating car, a 1932 Alfa Romeo 2300 Touring.
FIAT 500 – Fiat 500 appears in tv series because Yasuo Otsuka and Miyazaki, big estimators of the little italian car, wanted it. It is present in “Castle of Cagliostro” and “Plot of Fuma Clan” too.
TYRRELL – In second tv series episode n.11 – “Stake in the Monaco GP” – Lupin runs the Monaco Gp driving a Tyrrell-Ford Cosworth P34 ( with number 3 ), a six-wheels innovative model. On 1976 the first F1 participation : the car wons only the swedish Gran Prix, on Anderstorp track, with a first and a second place ( Jody Scheckter and Patrick Depailler ). The last presence in a Formula 1 competition was in Japan, on Fuji track.
