From september 21 2022, Yamato Video together with Anime Factory will release for first time on DVD and Blu ray the 5th series 2018, known on Italian TV with title: “Lupin III – Ritorno alle Origini” (“Back to the Origin”).
Like the 4th series it will be released in 2 Blue Ray versions, one for collection with Action Figure only Blu Ray and one normal in DVD or Blu ray.

The DVD edition has got 4 discs, the Blu Ray one has 3 discs, languages Italian e Japanese (Dolby Digital 2.0, italian subtiltes for japanese language). Both the versions contains all 24 episodes + extra episode “Lupin contro Tutti”(“Lupin is still burning…” like japanese homevideo one). This extra episode broadcasted in Italy from Mediaset (on Italia1 and Italia2 many times in first and second evening).
The Limited Blu Ray Edtion is numbered, it costs 85 euro (vs 59.99 of Blu Ray normal), it contains the same boxset slipcase with 2 superbooklets of 56 pages and 48 pages with inedit material + the exclusive Action Figure of Lupin.
This 2018 series is for 50th anniversary of manga, the jacket is mainly blue, like the 4th one, but the filler episodes are sono celebrtatory gifts to all TV series for this change the colour jacket and character design.
This series is locate mainly in France.
