A few years ago they cut some movies in parts :-/ and showed them as series on German MTV.
But I'm really interessted in the classic series of Lupin (even in Italian) which ran in children TV (what was it? "Bimbumbam" ??) in Italy in the 80ies.

Yes, in Italy for a long time Lupin III was a typical animation for children. Bim Bum Bam is a children' s project (on an italian famous channel called Italia1) where you can find a lot of Japanese or american series animated. But there are some "japanes cartoon" that are not a project for children(in the original nippon version), but Bim Bum Ban trasfortmed these animations for a young public with a particoular traslation and with a lot of censures. Sorry for my orrible english, do you undrestand me?

Now new DVD Versions includes some part of Lupin III or other cartoon censured in Bim Bum Bam Version.

There are Lupin's Movie for TV or for Cinema

ps Castle of Cagliostro(a Cinema movie from 1979) is the masterpiece of Lupin III but there are a lot of Lupin's movies very nice. For example Dead or Alive (1996-a film directed by Monkey Punch, the creator of Lupin The Third) or Mistery of Mamo (the firs Movie realizated in 1978). There are only some TV Specials: the most important are "Voyage to Danger-1993", " Walther P 38-1997" (a TV movie based on Lupin's gun) and " Episode Zero- First Contact" (a spectacular TV Movie based on Firs meeting of Lupin'gang). Now,in 2006, we have about 24 Lupin III Movies.

For now, there are only 1st TV series on DVD, in 5 DVDs that Yamato Video released in 2000.

Italian DVD version doesn't have subtitles, but if you have a PC with DVD drive (and Windows as Operative System) and you download a software called DVDSubber (a DVD player freeware), you can see them with english subtitles (referenced to japanese audio track) using my DVDSubber profiles

You can customize the language of your forum, if you want. I've just installed german.

No, I only know a few episodes of the TV Serie.
But I can't remember which ones. It must have been the first series i guess because Lupin had his blue/green jacket.

Yes, the first series is the best one. It is a tv series from 1971 (your imagine of Fujiko is from 1st tv series). In the original serie, Lupin's Jacket is green but some "films" are now like blue because the imagines are very old.
